The aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan has been weighing heavily on the hearts of people across the world. In Brooklyn tonight, comedians and musicians gather at The Bell House for night one of the BKLYN HEARTS JAPAN Benefit for Disaster Relief. With appearances from Ra Ra Riot, Eugene Mirman, Todd Barry, Kristen Schaal, and dj sets from Au Revoir Simone’s Annie Heart and Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio, plus silent auctions, we can hardly think of a better way to lift spirits and raise funds for disaster recovery with all ticket proceeds going directly to GlobalGiving.org.
